Klahoose New Relationship Center in BC Wins Silver!
Congratulations to Pino-Lite Glass Ltd. (Alumicor Authorized Platinum Dealer), a member of the collective team who built this exceptional building. The Silver Award of Excellence was awarded by the Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) to Ledcor, who acknowledged the massive efforts by all the sub-trades who made up the collective team, of which Pino-lite was an integral member.
"The new 15,000 square foot office, health and multi-purpose building on the Klahoose reserve nears completion, with a proposed grand opening for late October.
The building design, featuring heavy timber, curtain walls of glass, and structural in-place glass wall and ceiling panels are complemented by the western red cedar, which is used for the random-width siding, soffit and fascia, all finish including the planed and kiln dried tongue and groove, processed by local sawmill operator Ron Wolda for the ceilings.
A wide spectrum of local sub trades has been involved with the project, also including local electricians, labourers, carpenters and welders. A team of community members has worked in the community maintenance compound fabricating building and finish components for the new building.
