1400 Series Projected Windows
Alumicor created the 1400 Series Alumi-vent window to meet the rising demand for large, operable windows. With a pressure equalized, rain screen design and robust corner key fabrication, the Alumi-vent provides excellent functionality in very large sizes.
Available with both conventional and high performance “Euro-groove” hardware, including tilt and turn options, the 1400 Series can meet the challenges of today’s designers.
- Available in casement, awning and hopper design
- 2 11/16”(67.9mm) frame depth; insert the Alumi-vent window into any Alumicor fixed frame window or curtain wall system
- Proprietary “Bigfoot” thermal break technology for superior energy performance also allows for two colour finish (exterior/interior)
- Accommodates 1” (25.4mm) insulating glass units with top loaded glazing gaskets that “forgive” undersize IGU’s
- Factory fabricated at Alumicor facilities only
- AW-85 rated, tested to CSA A440 A3, B7, C5
- Two colour finish (exterior/interior) capability
- A wide variety of operating and locking hardware from standard roto-operators to high-end “Euro-groove” multi-point locks and tilt/turn options
